Built from hands-on experience

The Origin of JETEFX

JETEFX was founded by Mark Gomez, a five-time World Champion stand-up jet ski athlete whose career spans racing, freeride, freestyle, professional training, and live performance environments.

Long before international titles and global events, the foundation of JETEFX was formed through nearly ten years of hands-on work in the personal watercraft motorsports industry. During his early career, Mark worked as a PWC mechanic, maintaining, repairing, and modifying watercraft daily while developing a deep understanding of reliability, setup, and long-term performance.

That mechanical foundation carried directly into his own competitive progression and the preparation of other riders’ equipment. From the beginning, equipment, technique, and real-world application were treated as a single system.

JETEFX grew from this mindset, evolving into a platform focused on correct fundamentals, reliable execution, and performance that holds up across disciplines and environments.

Competition, Performance, and

Real-World Application

Experience shaped by pressure, logistics, and environments where failure carries consequences. With more than 17 years of professional experience, Mark Gomez has competed and performed at the highest levels of stand-up jet skiing. His background includes world championship competition across multiple disciplines, international freeride and freestyle tours, and closed-course racing at events such as the IJSBA World Championships, all demanding precision, preparation, and consistency under pressure. Beyond competition, Mark has produced and performed freestyle watercraft shows across diverse venues worldwide, managing domestic and international equipment logistics to ensure reliability under tight timelines. This blend of competition, performance, and operational discipline directly shapes JETEFX builds and training. Systems are designed to perform consistently, travel efficiently, and endure repeated use without compromise.

Technical Philosophy

Performance is engineered

through balance, not excess or shortcuts.

Performance is engineered through balance, not excess or shortcuts.

JETEFX is built on the belief that lasting performance comes from balance.

Reliability begins with the correct recipe of OEM and aftermarket components. Proven OEM foundations provide durability, predictability, and longevity, while carefully selected aftermarket parts are applied only where they serve a specific and justified purpose.

Each setup is tailored to the rider, discipline, and environment. Rather than chasing peak output, the goal is to harmonize components into a stable operational foundation that supports both performance and longevity.

Control systems emphasize clarity and consistency, reinforcing proper rider input instead of compensating for poor habits. This approach supports a ground-up connection between rider and watercraft, allowing riders to conserve energy, ride longer, and maintain control across conditions.

Training the Right Way

Skill development is measured by consistency, not speed of progression. Training at JETEFX is structured, evaluation-based, and rider-focused. Programs are designed to meet riders where they are, using appropriate equipment and progressive instruction. Training is also tailored to each individual’s learning style and physical ability. Riders process balance, movement, and feedback differently, and instruction is adjusted to create clarity rather than overload. JETEFX training emphasizes developing an authentic understanding of how progression is made. Riders learn to recognize what they feel on the water, why a technique works, and how their body input influences the watercraft. This builds confidence while fostering self-awareness. The goal is not dependency on instruction, but ownership of skill development. Riders leave with the tools to continue progressing safely and effectively after formal training concludes, carrying those skills across conditions, disciplines, and environments.

Where talent meets excitement

Performance and Watercraft Experiences

The moment the engine fires,

The energy changes

JETEFX delivers live freestyle watercraft performances designed to ignite excitement, capture attention, and create unforgettable moments for audiences of all ages. When a professional rider launches high above the water, rotating through a backflip before landing clean and accelerating away, the reaction is instant. Shock. Silence. Then cheers.

Children stare in disbelief. Adults lean forward. Cameras come out. The water becomes a stage.

Operating under JETEFX Watercraft Entertainment, each performance is crafted to match the environment and the event. Whether it is a lakeside festival, a resort pool activation, a waterfront venue, or an ocean setting, the goal remains the same. Deliver precision, elevate energy, and leave the crowd talking long after the final landing.

Behind the excitement is discipline. Every show is built on competition-level preparation, mechanical reliability, and structured execution. Safety and audience engagement are treated as equally important. This allows each performance to feel explosive while remaining controlled and repeatable.

JETEFX does not simply ride. It performs with purpose
